Atlas Privacy Notice

Who we are

Atlas is provided by Hoskins Digital Solutions Ltd, company number 15399629, registered in England and Wales. Our registered office is 40 Riders Lane, Havant, England, PO9 4QJ. Scope and responsibilities

This notice explains how we handle personal information for Atlas enquiries, accounts and services. We act as controller for our own customer administration and business records. Where we process personal information on a seller's instructions as their processor, our agreement with that seller governs that processing; the seller is responsible for its own privacy information and lawful instructions.

Information and sources

We process contact and business details you provide, support correspondence, account and subscription records, product information and content you submit, and technical information needed to operate and protect Atlas. With your authorisation, Amazon APIs provide information for enabled features, subject to permissions and eligibility. Separately, DataForSEO supplies Amazon market information such as ranking, pricing and product research. Brand Analytics reports require the relevant Amazon approval and account eligibility.

Atlas is designed to work without Amazon buyer personal information. Do not upload buyer names, addresses or other buyer personal details. Seller and team contact information may still be personal information.

Why we use personal information

We use information to respond to enquiries, administer access and subscriptions, provide the features you request, support users, protect the service and meet applicable legal obligations. For individuals contracting with us, necessary service and pre-contract processing is based on that contract. For business contact administration and service security, we rely on our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the business, balanced against individuals' rights. We process records required by law on the basis of legal obligation. Where consent is required for optional marketing or non-essential cookies, we will request it separately; you can withdraw it at any time.

Providing information

We need appropriate contact details to answer an enquiry and account information to provide access. Amazon-connected features require the relevant authorisation. Without the necessary information or permissions, we may be unable to provide the corresponding service. Optional form fields are identified as optional.

Analysis and AI

Atlas interprets authorised account information to support that seller's strategy and uses AI to assist with analysis or content preparation where enabled. Relevant inputs may be processed by the service providers identified in our provider schedule. Outputs can contain errors and require review. Recommendations support your decisions; seller approval is required before supported content submissions. Atlas is not designed to make solely automated decisions about individuals with legal or similarly significant effects.

Sharing information

We do not sell private Amazon account information or share it with other connected sellers. We do not use that information for cross-account learning, benchmarks or recommendations. Authorised personnel and necessary service providers may process information to deliver and protect Atlas under appropriate duties and agreements. Our provider schedule identifies those services, their purposes and processing locations. We may disclose information where legally required or to advisers where necessary for legal obligations or claims.

International processing

The provider schedule explains where information is processed and the safeguards used for any restricted international transfers. Contact lisa@hoskinsdigitalsolutions.co.uk to request details or a copy of the relevant safeguards. A storage location alone does not describe all processing or support access.

Retention and deletion

We keep personal information only as long as needed for its stated purpose, taking account of service delivery, outstanding enquiries, applicable recordkeeping duties and the establishment or defence of legal claims. We restrict any legally required retained records to that purpose.

For Amazon Information, our policy is to retain only what is strictly necessary for the authorised service or applicable legal obligations. We will securely delete it within 30 days of the earliest applicable trigger: an Amazon deletion request, withdrawal or removal of access, our determination that processing is no longer authorised, or termination or expiry of the relevant service participation. Necessary legal, tax or regulatory records are subject to the applicable exception. You can contact us to request deletion or assistance with disconnecting Atlas.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal information. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

Your right to object

You can object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your situation. You can object to direct marketing at any time. Contact lisa@hoskinsdigitalsolutions.co.uk to exercise these rights.

Complaints and changes

You can raise a concern with us or complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. We will update this notice when our processing changes and identify the effective date on the published page.
